family fun day

A couple of Saturdays ago, my mom needed a ride to the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport, so we decided to use it for a family fun day. First we saw the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium. It wasn't open for tours yet, (although it's $15 a person, so we wouldn't have went anyway...) but the pro shop was open, so we took a peek. It's very impressive.

We did a little shopping at the Dillard's outlet center and then headed back home. In Waco, we took the kids to Lion's Park. It was a lot of fun, even though it was in the upper 90s. The kids LOVED the go carts. Since that day, Rebekah earned enough money to pay for herself and Emma to ride again, so I took them back to Lion's Park for another spin around the track. I think it's safe to say a good time was had by all.

Just know I am in Puerto Rico trying to make enough money to buy them a cool go-cart or two to race around the property on. No worries, I won't allow them on the steep hills or near the lake. Oh, the Paka/Grandma cart rides will be FREE! Love, Paka
p.s. per Grandma's comment - License? don't need a license at Grandma's house but will need Mom and Dad's permission.
