Matthew or Luke?

Our family is currently reading the New Testament for our scripture study. It's very different from the Book of Mormon in that the first four books are just four different accounts of Christ's ministry. The same story--different perspectives.

So, we're into Luke now. As we were reading the other night, the verses sounded familiar, but something caught my attention. The wording seemed a little different. Sure, the meaning is the same, but for what it's worth, I like Matthew's wording a little better.

Matthew 4:19: And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Luke 5:10: ...And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

Why does Luke make me laugh so much?
