Each day I check a Web site for its pictures of the day. The site collects a handful of the most interesting pictures available worldwide on a given day and posts them online. Some of them I have posted on this blog. Every once in a while a local photographer whom I used to work with has one of his pictures published on the Web site.
Jerry Larson is one of the best photographers around. The picture below almost makes it so you can see the wind. It's just one of his many great pictures.
Just for kicks, this other picture by a photographer whom I do not know, shows that life at the zoo can be quite relaxing.

The hair picture was printed in our newspaper. It is quite amazing. That is very long hair. I glad I'm not going to be brushing it tonight. The send photo is of a very lazy soccer player. JCV

Love that hair picture. Lauren's hair is not nearly that long, but the Amarillo wind is surely that strong and we struggle constantly to brush her hair out. She refuses to let me put it up! AAUGH!
