Storm Mashes Attendence at High Priest Social

This picture is illustrative about what it was like to attend the annual Killeen Stake High Priest Social this year. Due to the weather only about 30 people attended. Brandy had cooked more than 100 baked potatoes, so nothing was going to stop us from attending. We drove through a pretty good storm and listened to reports of a small tornado touching down in Belton.

The weather was good when we got to Holland, where the party was held. The storm we had driven through soon caught up with us and it rained and rained. You can see condensation drops on this picture. One of the drops is on Brandy's hair so just know that his picture is not representative of how good her hair looked that night.

Anyway, the party usually has between 100 and 200 people attend. This year more people stayed away because of the storm, but it was still a good time for those who made the trip.

By the way, we had potato soup on Saturday and should have another potato dish tonight. It's funny sometimes what a storm leaves behind.
