I had a little league coach who encouraged his players to envision in their minds doing great things. He encouraged us when lying in bed to think about how successful we would be in the next game. I was so crazy for baseball that I followed his advice over and over again.
I have seen myself hit a home run many times, but nobody else has. I think I could have been a better baseball player if I didn't limit my thoughts. I never envisioned making a catch like this girl. I don't think you make a catch like this if you don't first see it in your mind. Watch the video and just pretend it's real.

I think that she should be signed up for a big dollar contract instead of some of those uppity players.
Not to take away from the blog, but this whole video was staged.
The 'girl' is a stunt woman and the video is raw video (without the lead-in and tag line) of a commercial.
Listen to the story on NPR's Weekend Edition here.
Thanks for the heads up on this being a staged event, Kyle. I actually knew that when I posted it, which is why I ended it with "watch the video and just pretend it's real."
