Did you see this story out of Europe?
A dog running across a street is hit by a car traveling more than 70 mph. Luckily, the impact broke the car's grill, which provided a nice resting place for the 15 mile ride it took.
The pooch escaped with only a broken leg and bruising. He's fortunate. In a report about this incident a police spokesman said that if the car had been going slower the dog may have bounced off the grill, been caught up in the tires and not survived.
