Rebekah came home from school today with a thank you note from her teacher. It was addressed to me and read:
Mr. Romer,
Thanks so much for being the kind person that you are -- first notifying the office about my flat so I would know, and then bringing the can of fix a flat. Your awesome family has an outstanding leader! I really appreciate it.
Rebekah said her teacher mentioned the act of kindness several times today. She was so proud of me.
The only problem is that the teacher thanked me for something I did not do. I wish I did, but I didn't. The person who she should be thanking is my brother Keith. He moved into town about a year ago.
He was at the school yesterday putting money on his daughter's lunch account, saw the flat tire and did what the teacher described. I guess the office staff just told the teacher that Mr. Romer did it.

I cried when I read that. You must have a really cool brother.
Keith
You can now pass that letter of commendation on to this Keith Romer guy. Or you could milk this and get a better grade for your daughter.
Aweeeeee...Keith did that!
