once-in-a-lifetime (I hope)

I have to face it--Paul Ivan is growing up. While I may have a hard time accepting this, my mother is finding it quite easy to accept. She's fully embracing it. In fact, she's encouraging it.

While at Six Flags Over Texas last week, my mom paid the extra bazillion dollars to give Paul Ivan the thrill of flying. It's safe to say that Paul Ivan is also embracing the fact that he's growing up. In fact, he's loving it!

I am terrified of heights and I am terrified my boys will want to do stuff like that too. I am glad your mom is the one encouraging this, it makes it easier to handle when your own mother is there.

I find it funny that Mom is the one encouraging it. I seem to remember how UNINVOLVED she was when it came to our sky diving. She preferred not to be there. I guess she is growing up too.

I'm happy Paul is embracing growing up, but I'm very, very glad I wasn't there to see a child I like flying though the air. It would have been terrifying for me.
