California 2003

My sister-in-law has included a very offensive post about me on her and Mark's blog. The post is located here.

I'm confident that she didn't consult Mark about this because he knows my vindictive nature. I don't stand for such things.

I scoured all the old pictures on my computer and would you believe we have nothing available that could publicly embarrass Heidi or Mark? Let me clarify. We have nothing available that I haven't already used -- see here.

The closest thing I've got is this from five years ago:

But how embarrassing is it when you are actually trying to act that way. Mark is way more animated than me and does stuff like this all the time for fun. And Heidi encourages it! They are an awesome couple. I've got nothing on them.

As I was looking through pictures, however, I found some others that I liked from our last visit to California five years ago. Here is proof that when I was a teacher we used to leave the great state of Texas for vacations.

This is when I learned that Paul Ivan doesn't like to be thrown in the pool with his clothes on. The kid pouted so much, I actually started to feel a little bad for doing it.

I love this picture of Isaac and Rebekah -- Einstein and Senorita. We visited a children's museum in Visalia and they found these costumes. It's funny to think back on this trip. This is the first time Isaac started talking about becoming a doctor. He has continually refined his plan over the past five years and is confident he will eventually enter the medical field -- I swear he came up with this idea on his own. It is the type of thing we would encourage but this idea came from him.

Here's hoping that Einstein doesn't change his mind.

Note: Emma is not pictured because she wasn't borned yet --that's the way she would put it.
