How to Make my Wife Smile

I changed the heating element in our dryer and went home teaching in the same week. My productivity is off the charts. A tip for those who find themselves changing a heating element: don't touch the wire with your hands. The oils from your skin will create hot spots and may cause it to weaken and break in the future. At least that is what the Sears man told me.

In case you're wondering, my wife really does smile about such things. Dates work too.

Is it surprising what will make a wife smile? Taking out the trash, helping a little more with the kids, putting your own plate in the dishwasher, helping clean up dinner and not necessarily done in the same night. Dates are great, especially if I don't have to plan it and it is something I enjoy too.
